Bio-compatibility
The entire philosophy behind bio-compatible dentistry revolves around the concept of treating the whole person. Your mouth is not separate from your body, and there is much more to oral health than teeth. You deserve a dentist who sees the big picture, beyond the mechanics of tooth repair. To the best of our knowledge and ability, we avoid the use of any potentially hazardous material. We prefer ceramics, such as zirconia and eMax porcelain, which are bio-compatible and beautiful. Metal is avoided entirely when possible. If it is necessary, we use gold, which is considered among the most bio-compatible metals. We use digital X-ray technology, providing our patients with a radiation reduction of 80 to 85 percent, as compared to conventional X-rays. We stay abreast of the latest discoveries and developments in dentistry, to provide modern, evidence-based care. Oral health is vital to the health of your entire body. We provide personalized care, designed with your unique needs in mind.
Full mouth reconstruction is the rebuilding and/or replacing of all teeth in a patient’s mouth. Combining aesthetics with the science of restorative dentistry, allows patients to enjoy a healthier, functional, and beautiful smile. A full mouth reconstruction may be right for you if you have multiple missing teeth, numerous failing or decaying teeth, cracked or broken teeth, or badly worn teeth due to teeth grinding. Treatments may include onlays, crowns, bridges, veneers, dental implants, and/or dentures giving patients a functional smile makeover.
Sometimes, tooth pain can mean there’s an underlying issue of infection. If this is the case, a root canal can help provide relief and start your journey to a healthy mouth. Root canals may sound overwhelming and unpleasant, but Dr. Stephen Wood works hard to ensure his patients are as comfortable and well taken care of as possible.

To put you more at ease, we offer nitrous oxide (laughing gas), pill form , or IV sedation with any treatment. If you want to be put to sleep completely, we can arrange that also.
Dental Implants
Dental implants are used to replace missing teeth. We strive to provide the most natural looking and feeling implant restorations possible. Statistics indicate a long term success rate of about 95%.
What is a dental implant?
A dental implant is a small, but strong, clinically supported device made of titanium or titanium-zirconia, which is inserted into the jaw bone in place of a missing tooth root. An implant acts as support for an artificial tooth crown or bridge, and is surgically placed under local anesthesia on an outpatient basis. Dental implants are used to replace a single tooth or multiple teeth and provide a probable long lasting natural feeling of restoration in all circumstances. You might think of a dental implant as an artificial tooth root.
A healthy smile is instrumental in enjoying a healthy life.
